Illinois Supreme Court Dismisses Blagojevich Court Removal Suit Illinois Policy Institute | 12/17/08
The Illinois Supreme Court today refused to hear either suit filed to
temporarily remove Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich from office. The
Court made no comment. One suit was brought by Attorney General Lisa
Madigan and the other was brought by three citizen plaintiffs,
including Illinois Policy Institute CEO John Tillman who said, "I am more convinced than ever that the only way to truly clean up Illinois is through citizen action." Read more.
